CAN converter

The MSPRO converter adapts the Touch Dash to any car: it detects MYLAPS timing loops and feeds the dash engine data from a WiFi OBD2 dongle plus its own inputs — 0-5 V senders, pulse trains and switches. Connect over Bluetooth to configure it.
OBD2 dongle requirement: ELM327 WiFi, version 1.5 (PIC18F25K80 chip). Cheap v2.1 clones and Bluetooth dongles will not work.
Writes the whole flash — bootloader, partition table and firmware — straight from the browser. This is how a blank ESP32-S3 gets its first firmware; a box that already runs ours can be updated over Bluetooth in the section above, with no cable.
Connect the converter to this computer with a USB cable, then press the button and pick its serial port. Some boards need BOOT held while you plug them in.
After flashing, the box restarts and starts looking for a dash by itself. Its settings live in NVS and survive an update, but a first flash erases the chip — the bound dash and the dongle credentials will have to be set again.
