MS3 Touch Dash

Device & activation

Activation over Bluetooth

The main path: the display reports its own MAC and accepts the key over the same link telemetry uses. No cable needed. Requires firmware 1.15.0 or newer.

Connect to the display first and sign in — with the password, or by picking one on an unclaimed device.

If Bluetooth does not work — over the cable

The fallback: connect the display over USB (the UART port). Needed on firmware older than 1.15.0 and when the radio on the device did not come up.

Reset activation (for testing)

Erases the license key from the display and reboots it, so the unit goes back to being unactivated. Needed to test activation: there is nothing to test on an already activated display. Settings, the log and recorded runs are kept. Requires firmware 1.15.1 or newer.
